Coastal cultural history films at Backes bu during Kaperuka. 

Svein Syvertsen and Samuel Kjørkleiv have done a great deal of work making films of coastal cultural and historical value for our area. 

Among the films that will be shown between the lectures/during the breaks at Backes Bu during the event in Kaperuka is the story of the boat Lindholmen, which in 1907 sank after a fire off the coast, and was driven ashore while burning on Falkonsanden.

Syvertsen and Kjørkleiv have made several films, including about the Lundebanen, the railway that the Germans built during the war, the torpedo boat Teist, the Lemmebanen at Lista, the prisoner ship Palatia and the prison camp at Kåde.

There will be an opportunity to purchase films.
