Leading politicians from the five largest parties in Agder will gather for a Politician Dialogue in Farsund on July 12.

In a collaboration between Farsund parish and Kaperuka, a "politician dialogue" is being arranged on the schooner AIDA during this year's Kaperuka Week. The bishop of Agder and Telemark, Stein Reinertsen, will lead the conversation during the event.

The parish priest of Farsund parish, Henning Huseby Jansen, makes it clear that this will not be a traditional election debate, but an arena for reflection, dialogue and listening.

– We want to create a different tone than what is often experienced in political debates. This should be a conversation where politicians listen to each other and reflect on issues that matter to us as a society, he says.
