About KAPERUKA
KAPERUKA is an event in mid-July in Farsund. You could say it is a total renewal of the Kaperdagene and Kapersjøslaget that we know from before. From Jansen's plan up to and including Fern Sunde's place (Baches Bu), we take the time back to the era of privateering in the early 19th century with scenes, sand, stalls, sailing ships and more.
During KAPERUKA, the harbor and the center are filled with activities, music and a bit of madness. The shops are open, restaurants and stalls tempt with delicious food. You will find gold digging and competitions, concerts and caper games, circus and circus school, sailing ships and wet fun under the auspices of BUA and much, much more. Many activities last several days.
We aim for this to be a caper week for everyone. Here, there are no expensive entrance tickets to any of our events, and if you check the program carefully - yes, there will be "Happy hours" with free cotton candy, hot dogs and more.
We end KAPERUKA with the caper game on Sunday
Bring the family and come to Farsund!
